Classical double pot still system

Traditional double-pot still system is still widely used and popular technology. The distillation process takes place in two pots first in the mash pot -first distillation and than rectification pot - second distillation.

Description

We mainly supply double-pot still systems as a complete system including design, through production to on-site delivery and installation of all components.

Double-pot still assemblies are most commonly produced in combinations :

-250 L mash pot + 120 L rectification pot

-300 L mash pot + 150 L rectification pot

-400 L mash pot + 180 L rectification pot

-500 L mash pot + 200 L rectification pot

Heating can be provided by solid fuels (wood), gas burners or electricity. The distillation systems can be also completed with a pre-loading mash tank together with mash vaccum pump, collection tanks for heads and tails, etc. The photos in the gallery below will tell you more.

The approximate dimensions of the space required for the technology are 3.5 m x 4.5 m and the building height is 3.5 m.

The final product has a rich aroma and different flavour attributes than the single-pot still with column system
Mash heating takes place directly without a transfer medium (single pot)
