Description
In case of double-jacketed boilers the heating of the contents takes place through water bath in the jacket. The jacket is equipped with a safety assembly with a working pressure of 0.5 bar (safety valve with control pressure gauge). The advantage of these boilers is that the raw material does not stick to the walls and get burnt during heating and thus does not need to be stirred. Another advantage is the longer lifetime of the distillation equipment.
Material and design:
The boiler is made of copper (1,5 mm) and the water bath is made of stainless steel. Hand-hammered boilers with a copper value of 99.9%. The solid fuel furnace is always made of stainless steel. The flue on the firebox is located at the back (130 mm diameter). The design can be adapted to your specific requirements, we normally produce atypical variants in terms of the location of the discharge valve (left-right), the direction of the transfer pipe (left or right ), etc.
Distillation boilers can be manufactured as tipping or with a DN50 outlet valve.
The maximum boiler filling capacity is always 80% of the total volume.
