In case of double-jacketed boilers the heating of the contents takes place through water bath in the jacket. The jacket is equipped with a safety assembly with a working pressure of 0.5 bar (safety valve with control manometer). The advantage of these boilers is that the raw material does not stick and get burnt during heating and thus does not need to be stirred. Another advantage is the longer lifetime of the distillation equipment.
Material and design:
The boiler is always made of copper, (1,5 mm). Hand-hammered boilers with a copper content of 99.9 %. The firebox is either made of sprayed steel (2 mm) or stainless steel (1,5 mm). The flue pipe on the firebox is located on the back side (diameter 130 mm). Steel or stainless steel jacket (2 mm). The design of the device can be adapted to your specific requirements by agreement, we normally produce atypical variants in terms of the location of the drain valve (left-right), the direction of the transfer pipe (left or right ), etc.
Distillation boilers can be manufactured as tipping or with a DN80 outlet valve.
Double-walled, tipping: 50 L, 75 L, 95 L, 110 L, 125 L
Double-walled, with DN100 outlet: 50 L, 75 L, 95 L, 110 L, 125 L, and 150 L
The maximum boiler filling capacity is always 80% of the total volume.
