Description

In double-wall stills, the contents are heated through a water bath located in the intermediate jacket. The intermediate jacket is equipped with a safety assembly with an operating pressure of 0.4 bar (safety valve with pressure gauge). The main advantage of these stills is that the raw material does not burn during heating and does not need to be stirred. Another advantage is the longer service life of the distillation equipment.

Material and Design:

The still is always made of copper (1.5 mm). The stills are hand-hammered and made of 99.9% pure copper. The firebox is made of coated steel (2 mm) or stainless steel (1.5 mm). The flue outlet on the firebox is located at the rear (diameter 130 mm). The intermediate jacket is made of steel or stainless steel (2 mm). The equipment design can be adapted to your specific requirements by agreement. We routinely manufacture custom variants, for example, with regard to the position of the drain valve (left/right), the direction of the transfer pipe (left or right), etc.

The distillation stills can be manufactured as tilting versions or with a DN 80 drain valve.

The maximum filling volume of the still is always 80% of its total capacity.
